Description
The design of the Yalma carpet, like other nomads, has broken and geometric lines and simplified forms. In these designs, Bakhtiari flowers and bushes are not usually used, and its motifs are mostly influenced by Qashqai motifs and in the form of repeated rhombuses.
The odd number of vertical and horizontal frames in the frame motifs that have recently been introduced in the carpets of this people and the Sasanian sun, broken cross and henna flower motifs are other signs of Yalmeh carpets.
The warp and weft of this carpet is made of wool. The size and area of these carpets is usually small. The arm and half, the side and also the back are in different and normal sizes from the braids that are woven with colorful bergamots among the people of this tribe. The type of texture of these carpets is usually half-tube and flat.
