Description
One of the most beautiful hand-woven carpets woven by Azerbaijani artists in the 19th century is the Four Seasons carpet of Tabriz. This exquisite carpet measures 276*203 and is woven using the best quality fibers. The materials used in this carpet are pure wool, naturally dyed threads, and silk knots, which are the characteristics of this carpet.
The four-season carpet of Tabriz is currently kept in one of the art museums of Baku in Azerbaijan. This carpet, which consists of four parts, depicts the life of the villagers who are engaged in agriculture.
An image of a poet can be seen in the central medallion, which is most likely Omar Khayyam. In different seasons, it shows the farmers engaged in the works appropriate to the same season.
